20-Miler Challenge Guided Hikes

To encourage outdoor lovers to take part in Wilco’s inaugural “20-Miler Challenge,” FRRCP members with the Sun City Hiking Club led 10 Guided Hikes along 5 different routes within the park’s trail system on five Saturday mornings over the course of the Challenge (July 22 through November 30 of 2024).

Special thanks are extended to hike leaders Bill Corbett, Kathy Corbett, Don Shawhan, Karen Shawhan and Dave Schunk. 14 of the Guided Hike participants successfully completed the 20-Miler Challenge – and 5 of them were among the 20 Challenge hikers whose names were drawn to win a Wilco Annual Parks Pass (a $50 value)!
